About AmeriChef

Founded in 1946 to manufacture hand-operated kitchen appliances like our AmeriChef appliances, Kitchen-Quip has been family-owned since it was purchased in 1973 by Winston Sparling.

Born In 1919, Winston Sparling came to Kitchen-Quip in 1967 and led the company into a new era by focusing on its die casting ability. Joined in 1980 by his son, Stephen Sparling, the pair built a business based on tradition, honesty, & trust.
